JOINS CORPORATE AND PUBLIC PARTNERS IN
ESTABLISHING VACCINATION CENTRE
The Jade Square mass Covid-19 vaccination site in Klerksdorp bears testament to the power of collaboration .

This site , which officially opened on Friday , 6 August , is the result of a collaborative venture between the Klerksdorp Chamber of Commerce , local businesses – including the likes of Senwes , the North-West University ( NWU ) and the Department of Health . The aim of the centre is to administer at least 2000 vaccines per day to people of Klerksdorp and the surrounding areas .
Senwes staff members who have registered to receive the vaccination had the opportunity to visit the Centre on Thursday , 5 August to receive their first jab .
The Centre is open to all members of the public on weekdays , from 08:00 to 16:00 . People older than 18 years can visit the Centre , which is located in Margaretha Prinsloo Street ( opposite Checkers Hyper ), to receive a vaccination . Individuals in the age group 18 to 34 can start registering for the vaccine from 1 September .
