Help Hinterland and Senwes
collect water
for drought strickened areas

TO COLLECT DRINKING

THAT ARE AFFECTED BY THE CURRENT
DROUGHT
HINTERLAND
Hinterland has started an initiative of its own by collecting
water for the Senekal community
where Hinterland has an Afgri
Town & Country branch. As
a result drinking water will be
sent to the branch in Senekal,
which will, in turn, distribute it
amongst community members
in need.

This is to ensure that inferior (tap
or other) water does not end up
being used for human consumption since it could lead to illness
and disease. Kindly drop your
contribution off at your nearest
Hinterland branch. Your contribution will then be forwarded to
the Senekal branch, which will
ensure that the water is distributed to the community. Thank
you for supporting this worthy
cause. Enquiries can be directed

SENWES

begun donating and delivering
water to the Senwes Head Office
in Klerksdorp, which was then
taken to Brandfort and Welkom

some much needed water. Water
will be taken to a different area
where it is needed every week,
according to Senwes staffer,
Roelien Moolman.
The organisers wish to thank
all employees who donated water
and wish to thank Grain Procurement in particular for the
logistical arrangements. Roelien
says that more than 250 litres of
water are donated by staff
every week.
HOW IT WORKS
All you need to do is take any
number of sealed bottles of water
to level K1 at Head Office in
Klerksdorp and mark the bottles
clearly with DW to indicate that
it is drinking water.
