Very easy - five minutes and it was
done.

AGRIREWARDS SCHEME?
I am very positive about it and I
think Senwes launched a wonderful initiative.

AGRIREWARDS?
I received an e-mail and got more
information from the grain marketing team in Kroonstad.
WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING
FORWARD TO?
When receiving my bonus after
16 years and when AgriRewards is
rolled-out to other facets such as
the retail branches.
DO YOU UNDERSTAND HOW THE
AGRIREWARDS SCHEME WORKS?
Yes. At first I misunderstood the
concept and thought that I would
receive a lump sum after 16 years.
But it is more sustainable for me
to receive a large sum of money
after 16 years.
WHO EXPLAINED THE CONCEPT
TO YOU?
I am part of a grain focus group,
where Ben Brink and Thys
Grobbelaar from Senwes explained
it to us. I know of another Senwes
producer who also joined.
WHAT WILL YOU DO WITH YOUR
AGRIREWARDS BONUS WHEN YOU
RECEIVE IT 16 YEARS FROM NOW?
I will plough it back. I stand
by my original decision to buy
Senwes shares. Agricultural businesses will grow significantly over
the next few years. The focus of
the whole world is on agriculture

increased to R10,50.
WHAT WOULD YOU SAY TO OTHER
PRODUCERS WHO HAVE NOT JOINED
AS YET?
Well, it is easy and simple and
you get money back. It is excellent
when your agri-business returns
something to you as producer.
I also think that it is excellent
that Senwes requested its producers' input. I mentioned that it
would be nice if we could receive
a percentage shares as well - they
thought it was a good idea and
indicated that they would investigate it.
HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT SENWES IN
GENERAL?
I can describe Senwes as a good
inheritance from my father. We
have been doing business with Senwes since
the late seventies.
