OVERVIEW 3 ABOUT THIS REPORT TARGET AUDIENCE T he Senwes Integrated Report is compiled and published annually. It is primarily aimed at providing current and potential investors with an overview of the group’s value creating business model, strategies, opportunities, risk miti-­ ga­ting actions, corporate governance and financial perfor- mance. The report also provides any other stakeholder with quality and accurate information to make an informed assessment on whether the company can deliver on its brand promise. Furthermore, it includes non-financial information relevant to stakeholders which have a significant impact on the group’s ability to create value and/or those whose activities have an impact on the group. SCOPE This report mainly focuses on the activities and operations of Senwes Ltd for the period 1 May 2017 to 30 April 2018 as Senwes accounts for 86% of the group’s revenue, but also co­ vers those activities conducted by the company’s subsidia­ries, joint ventures and associate for the above-mentioned period. DETERMINING MATERIALITY ASSURANCE Ernst & Young Inc. conducted an independent audit of the group’s consolidated annual financial statements. The rest of the report, consisting of non-financial information, has not been subjected to an independent audit or review and has been compiled based on internal records and information in the public domain under supervision of CF Kruger, CA (SA), Group Chief Financial Officer.
