Models are too skinny. What ever happened to the sexy curve of Marilyn Monroe's hips? The accepted runway body has gone from an hourglass figure to that of an adolescent boy. I'm no size 2, and I will NEVER strive to be there. I lost 30 pounds and started on the path of representing THE HEALTHY, ATHLETIC, SENSUAL WOMAN, walking tall and proud in my size 8 jeans. Eat healthy, be healthy and VIVE LES CURVES!!!
My weight gain didn't arise until the good ole American sedentary lifestyle kicked in. After graduating college I found my first job in Corporate America. I woke up, sat down for breakfast, sat down in my car driving to work, sat down for 9 hours at my desk, sat down in my car driving home, sat down on the couch for dinner, sat down at my computer playing games and then laid down and went to sleep. I fell into the same daily routine for 10 months. When I looked in the mirror, I did not like what I saw. I was a size 12 and weighed 187 pounds. I was round, had cellulite, back pain, and jiggled in places that shouldn't.
I
