Her whole body was shaking as she gasped for breath in the dark corner where she was hiding. She couldn't hear the voices anymore and didn't feel the oppressive forces around her like she had before. Thinking she was safe Renee started to relax. From the darkness behind her she heard the sadistic laugh and then many voices speaking as one saying, "We have been waiting for you." She jumped up and started for the exit to the cellblock but it was like being caught in a vortex as the unseen forces pulled her toward an open cell. She grabbed at the walls and tried to fight it.
