It is clear to all who have known Theresa that she is the personification of loyalty and truth . Passionate , principled and steadfast , she is the embodiment of one who has devoted their career to enable others to achieve . Respected by all , there is no doubt that everything she has done in the last 41 years of service to the school has been to help it thrive . Her accomplishments have been vast , but underpinning
all of them has been her indefatigable desire to make things better for those around her , and she has done this selflessly and with grace .
Theresa began her career at Sevenoaks School in 1980 as a Geography teacher , straight after graduating with a BSc in Geography and a PGCE , both from London University . Starting off with a one-year contract , it was clear that Theresa had much potential , and she was offered a permanent contract . To this day she is known to be a fantastic teacher , going the extra mile for students who need a bit more support , some being a little shocked however when she offers to see them to go over a topic at 7.30 in the morning !
