Girls: second overall against some stiff competition from club teams. James Elgar was fastest boy. Inter girls: 15th out of 415 teams nationally. Standout performances: Telia Green (15th) and Maddie Wise (13th). Charterhouse Cup King’s Trophy A boys-only race, our A team just missed out on the podium, beaten by Judd, St Albans and RGS to finish fourth. Very strong performances by James Elgar in ninth and Ingmar Gunn in 12th. The girls won by default again, being the only full team, but the most pleasing result was that the Sevenoaks boys also came first, beating Judd by one point! Haskell Trophy A relay organised by RGS Guildford. We faced stiff competition and the A team finished 13th. Ingmar Gunn had a great run and recorded the fastest time of the day. Coach: John Witton 46 The ESAA Cross Country Cup SPORT Lancing Claremont Invitational Junior (Year 7-8) Girl Shield: Telia Green Team: 2nd behind Harrow Junior girls: 2nd out of 17 Junior (Year 7-8) Boy Shield: Tom Phillips James Elgar: 2nd, Rob Perry: 7th. Junior boys: 2nd out of 23 Inter (Year 9-11) Girl Shield: Maddie Wise Junior Knole Run Another new junior fixture in the calendar. Superb individual performances from Telia Green (2nd) and Tom Phillips (3rd). Inter (Year 9-11) Boy Shield: Ingmar Gunn Even though they were missing some key runners, a fantastic performance by our junior girls saw them take second place (out of 61 teams) behind Coopers’ Coborn. The boys were seventh, also out of 61 teams. Somerhill (junior fixture) The girls dominated: Anais Fernandez- Laaksonen (2nd), Ellie Allen (4th), Telia Green (5th). Tom Phillips had a good run to finish fifth in the boys race.
