OS REUNIONS
In a bumper year for reunions, alumni of all generations returned, reunited and remembered, at the school and around the world, celebrating the enduring bonds forged at Sevenoaks.
10 YEAR REUNION CLASS OF 2015
The 10 Year Reunion for the Class of 2015 took place in May. Around 100 alumni from across the globe attended, many making the short trip from London or Kent, but some coming from as far away as New York!

5 YEAR REUNION CLASS OF 2019
The Class of 2019 gathered in London last October to celebrate five years since leaving Sevenoaks School. It was especially touching to be joined by Jesse Elzinga, as well as many of our former teachers. In the short time since leaving Sevenoaks much has changed both globally and personally. We have lived through a pandemic, political upheaval, university, early careers and even first steps onto the London property ladder. Yet in spite of all that has changed, it was striking how familiar so many friendships felt. The sense of ease and shared history created a genuine warmth throughout the evening, a welcome reminder of the lasting connections formed at Sevenoaks and the community that continues to bring us back together.

Some things have changed beyond recognition: the Marley and Aisher halls have gone, with the Science and Technology Centre and newly named Brian Ong Global Centre in their place, the Economics department is next to the Dining Hall, Manor House has been refurbished and the Medical Centre is in the former Head’ s house. The Headmaster gave us a warm welcome reflecting on his own five-year term which started during the pandemic.
Many staff attended, especially boarding house staff of our time( Mrs Bassett, Mrs Trigger – nee Miss Nairn, Dr Owen and Dr Findley), as well as teachers no longer at Sevenoaks who had strong links with the year group, including Mr Eversfield. Mr Smith gave an emotional and entertaining speech looking back at the trials and tribulations of keeping tabs on the Class of 2015 as a Middle School Div Head. For all of us, there was a lot to catch up on from the past 10 years and it was exciting to hear about the different journeys people have taken. Many ended up reminiscing about moments that brought laughter, tears – or both – 10 years ago and still do now.
Thank you to the OS team for organising the event and continuing to keep us in touch with the school and each other.
