YEAR 8 TRIP TO JCA NETBALL
Favourite – looking back on the Year 8 netball trip to Shrewsbury , that is the word that instantly comes to mind ! One of my favourite weekends of the year so far , spent with some of my favourite people , doing one of my favourite things . The fun on our trip didn ’ t just consist of netball , however ; there were many fun activities such as high ropes throughout the weekend .
After a tense netball group stage with the A team finishing on top , the teams moved onto the playoffs , with the Bs also working hard and playing brilliantly as a team . The As pushed through and got into the final and after an exciting game with lots of support from our peers we won the tournament . After medals were handed out and gratitude was expressed for the tournament , both teams bundled into the buses full of smiles and headed home .
Massive thanks to the teachers who took us . Miss Cripps and Miss Cummins hugely enhanced our experience , with Miss Cummins even having a go at the activities ! The team effort throughout the weekend made it a fabulous trip and one that I will always recommend .
