FUN AND AFFECTION
The final event was the 5 and 10 Year Reunion Dinner , which carried the same sense of affection that exists between OS from all eras . I was privileged to attend all the reunions , which are always great fun , and to tour OS around their school once again . Jesse Elzinga had his first opportunity , since becoming Headmaster , to welcome Old Sennockians in person and to give an update on future plans for the school as we approach the 600th anniversary in 2032 .
OS have expressed their thanks and gratitude for the opportunity to meet up with one another and their former teachers , and to everyone – especially the Sevenoaks School Foundation team – involved in meticulously organising the reunions . Without doubt , these reunions are moving ; for a few hours a group of people whose common bond is Sevenoaks share their current lives and their past schooldays together .
