FANTASY TABLETOP GAMING CLUB
Join us at one of the most enjoyable clubs in school
Do you like summoning stampedes of ranting ferocities , or perhaps dexterously outwitting your friend with a flurry of spells and sorceries ? Do you like cunningly arranging a one-sided deal with someone , only to betray them later and seize the win ? Well , once a week there is an opportunity to do just this …
One of my favourite things in the world is sitting down with a bunch of friends on a rainy Monday afternoon and simply having a fun game of whatever piques our curiosity . I ’ m a dedicated Magic : The Gathering player , but my friends have played the wonderful Kodama quite a lot this year .
Whether it is card or board games , Fantasy Tabletop Club gives us the chance to get together with our friends , and even meet new ones , to socialise over a fun game . I have made so many friends through the club and had so many interesting conversations that it ’ s hard to keep count !
I strongly encourage whoever is interested to just come and have a go ; Mr Niklas and I will happily help you to learn any game and guide you through the fascinating surprises to be experienced .

An arrow plunges forwards , out of the shadows beside the dais , and straight at the emperor . Thankfully , the arrow bounces off his concealed armour and lands on the dais with a slight thud . The room falls silent . How do your characters react ?
Dungeons & Dragons is an amazing board game in which players tell a story together . One of the players is called the Dungeon Master and sets the scene , while the others control characters who interact with the environment in many ways .
Playing Dungeons & Dragons at school is incredibly fun , because it gives you an awesome opportunity to spend time with your friends . Every Monday , an evergrowing number of students gather in the Cottage Block to continue their story from last week in their small groups .
As someone who attends the club each week , it would be an injustice not to mention all the useful skills you learn ( some people put Dungeons & Dragons on their CV !). For me , I ’ ve found that Dungeons & Dragons has helped my social skills , and improved skills that could be important for drama .
Fantasy Tabletop on Mondays comes highly recommended from me , as one of the most enjoyable clubs at school .
