CRASH INTO CHRISTMAS

When Frosty the Snowman and Mr Beston ensured that , pandemic or no pandemic , we still crashed into Christmas in style .

This year however , Crash into Christmas had to be done slightly differently to allow for the restrictions implemented during the pandemic . An innovative alternative to a live concert had to be conjured up to ensure the show must go on in times when a live event was certainly not able to happen .

Preparation took place during the final weeks of the Michaelmas term , with everyone in the video playing ‘ Frosty the Snowman ’ in their individual music lessons where they were filmed and recorded .
Mr Beston then had to undertake the immense task of going through each of the 34 sax players ’ clips and editing them into the video . With the help of his son Alfie , Mr Beston was able to edit the videos with Christmassy effects , including snow that displayed each player ’ s name in their window , snow globes and all the players spun round in the shape of a snowflake . Santa himself even made a surprise improv
