The OSGS have enjoyed society days at Sweetwoods Park in April and Crowborough Beacon in July . We had one day cancelled at Knole in May due partly to Covid-19 problems but at the time of writing are looking forward to two more days in the autumn , at Hever and Piltdown .
In addition to the above we played a friendly match against Old Alleynians on 7 July at Littlestone GC . This was our first match under new management and we were somewhat overwhelmed by a team of superior golfers whose handicaps were considerably less than ours . It was great fun nonetheless and a return fixture is planned for next year .
The philosophy of the society is to provide fun golf days to players of any age and ability . The cost of golf , breakfast and a chance to win one of many prizes is about £ 65 .
