enjoyable season and pulling on the Sevenoaks shirt was always something that filled us with pride and is something that we will cherish for many years to come . A big thanks to Mr Habib and Mr Jarvis for their coaching expertise and dedication .

Season 2019-20 was full of unrealised promise , with many winnable fixtures cancelled so this strong team did not get sufficient chances to show what they could do .
Superbly captained by our MVP , Giulia Clini , we defeated Tunbridge Wells Girls ’ Grammar School 14-0 in the Kent Cup , with our top scorer of the season , Claire Morgan , netting five , including a penalty secured for us by eagle-eyed flag-bearer Felix Allan , giving the lie to the old adage that schoolboys make bad linesmen . abnormal amount of rain meant that pitches across the south-east of England were absolutely sodden from the beginning of February onwards . Beaten in the next round by Highworth Grammar School for Girls – packed with imperial stormtroopers ( or so it seemed ) – we were spared the ignominy of a double figure defeat by an outstanding display by goalkeeper Cerys ‘ the cat ’ Jenkins , who will be sorely missed .
In what turned out to be our final fixture of the season , on a pristine first-team pitch at Charterhouse , we lost a thriller 3-2 . We thank our departing players for their years of dedicated service , and we wish next season ’ s captain , Khue Edwards , every success and plenty of fixtures .
The season ’ s highlight has to be Claire Morgan ’ s run slaloming past five defenders in a row . The referee knew her name by the end of the match .
