organisers Hayley and Sarah , as well as a song by Sia choreographed by Sophie for Lower School dancers Imogen Davies and Sophie Ross . There were elegant ballroom pieces choreographed and performed by Andrea Olsen ( Year 10 ), who was joined on stage by our host and performer Andrei Golovanov ( Lower Sixth ), and from Year 11 , exciting and varied pieces of choreography by Stella Hammersley and Amelie Doll . The range of talent was undeniable .
The atmosphere backstage was unforgettably supportive , underlining the strong family-like connections within the Sevenoaks dance community . We also owe a huge amount to the teachers , technicians and other staff members who provided us with an incredible performance platform . From booking many lunchtime rehearsals in the Sennocke Centre to printing out posters and programmes , so many people who were not seen on stage helped us – sincere thanks to them all . We are delighted to have been able to dance for an audience in aid of Danceaid , a charity that we truly connect with , and were thrilled to raise more than £ 1000 for the second year running .
