In equal measure the Foundation is committed to
widening access to a Sevenoaks education through
bursaries, thereby honouring our Founder William
Sevenoke’s legacy to provide academically talented
young people from low income families with access
to education.

Sevenoaks School Foundation was established in
2004 to inspire philanthropic support throughout
the school community. Our aim is to sustain the
continuous development and advancement of the
school, ensuring that it remains at the forefront of IB
education globally.
Over the past 15 years, the Foundation has
transformed the school’s teaching and learning
environment through the development of world-class
facilities: The Sennocke Centre, The Space, the Science
and Technology Centre and Global Study Centre, and
most recently, Aisher House.

The school could not fund major developments or the
bursary programme through tuition and boarding fees
alone. Sevenoaks School Foundation, together with
the collective generosity of parents and alumni, is the
means by which we have and will continue to develop
and advance the school.
Access to Education
Inequality and social mobility continue to be major
challenges in the UK and throughout the world. The
Foundation is committed to bursaries while also
helping the school to extend its reach and influence in
Sevenoaks and in the most socially and economically
challenged areas of Kent and London. Over the past
nine years 126 students have attended Sevenoaks
School supported by the bursary programme.
