Athletics
Another tremendous term of
athletics, with extraordinary
achievements on the track.
The athletics programme at Sevenoaks continues
to grow. We now combine both male and female
participation within games afternoons and after-
school training, and this is already a huge success.
The fixture list has also grown and all age groups have
represented the school in a vast array of school meets
and regional or national competitions.
Although we pick out the most impressive
performances of the season, we acknowledge the
performances of all students. Athletes should be
commended for their attitude and work rate, always
showing a desire to continuously improve within

their track and field disciplines. Through their hard
work, almost all students were provided with the
opportunity to represent the school within a fixture.
From a performance perspective, school records that
have stood for decades have been surpassed, leading
to opportunities for our students to gain further
representative honours.
The pick of these has to be Georgia Baker (Year 9)
who broke three long-standing school records
(hurdles, high jump and long jump) and also achieved
the honour of representing English Schools. Fin Croll
(Year 11) also continues to shine on the track,
taking the 1500m record across two age groups
in consecutive years. Lucinda White (Year 9) also
deserves a mention. Despite being frustrated by injury
throughout the Summer term, she was still able
to achieve a new PB in both pole vault and javelin,
setting new school records in the process.
