Olga Springer
Olga had a significant impact on the German
department, working tirelessly to encourage a sense
of excitement and curiosity in her students, both as a
language and literature teacher.
She always sought to enrich pupils beyond the
curriculum, pushing them past exam-driven learning.
She brought literature to life in her weekly club for
staff and students, rallied our students to compete in
the Goethe Institute Debating Competitions, and has
been a true ambassador for German culture. Olga was
always willing to put in extra time with her students,
whether to help stretch them in essay competitions,
or assist them to master the many complexities of
German grammar. Her literary knowledge is vast, and
her input will be truly missed.
Unsurprisingly, her passion for German literature
has been recognised by Dublin University, where
Olga is moving as Assistant Professor, and where she
will undoubtedly inspire a cohort of very fortunate
students. We wish her the best of luck.

Judy Tribe
Judy joined Sennocke House in 2009 as our Matron
and after ten years, she has decided to move on
and focus on her own family. In this time, Judy has
become a truly valued and respected member of
the school community, loved by staff, parents and
students alike. She encompasses all that we set out
to achieve in Sennocke. Her care, support, unfailing
positivity and generosity of time stands her apart as a
fabulous ambassador for the house. She is everything
one could possibly want in a Matron – a friend,
mother-figure, listening ear, kind, fair, funny and
resourceful.
We thank Judy for the pride she takes in her work
and the inspiring example she continues to model to
all the Sennocke girls. She will be a big loss; however,
caring for her grandson will be an exciting new
adventure. We wish Judy the best of luck!
