O utreach continued
T he F riends of S evenoaks
In September 2017 we are launching our
Outreach Box initiative. This will start with 14
boxes of resources that will be freely available
to schools to borrow for a limited amount of
time. These boxes include class sets of 30 virtual
reality headsets, robots, electronics kits, hi-tech
microscopes and many other items.

significant number of Sevenoaks staff teach on these
courses. This year we celebrated the graduation of
the first cohort of students to complete the four-
year programme, and we were delighted that a good
number of them achieved excellent university offers.
IBCP
We also continue to support the rollout of the new
IB Careers-related Programme (IBCP) to 26 schools

Sevenoaks continues to support the Kent Academies
Network Programme (KAN), which links five
independent schools with six academy schools.
The programme aims to support students from the
academies with university applications, and to raise
aspirations and encourage social mobility.
