Global Experiential Trips
These trips provide students with meaningful, authentic, and responsible opportunities to engage with people, cultures, and nature both nationally and internationally. Grounded in our dedication to embedding intercultural competencies, self-reflection, and perspective taking, these experiences encourage students to approach challenges with open-mindedness and intellectual curiosity. By integrating subject knowledge from various domains through curricular and co-curricular programming, students develop empathy, ethical decision making skills, and the ability to collaborate across diverse perspectives to address real-world issues responsibly.
Trips take place during the school year and range in length from 5 – 10 days. Trip costs generally run from $ 4,500 –$ 6,800, depending on the location. Trip selections are determined in mid-May of the previous year and information is posted for student consideration. A trip information meeting for students, parents and guardians is held in early September, and student applications are due by the end of September, with all payments due by the end of October.
For the 2026-2027 school year, we will be offering the following trips:
• Costa Rica- Grade 10-12
• Montreal & Quebec City- Grade 8 & 9
• Norway- Grade 10-12
• St. John’ s Newfoundland( Choral)- Grade 8-12
Each trip has a minimum number of student registrants required for the trip to run. If a trip does not meet the minimum number of participants after the September 2026 application deadline, the trip will not run during the 2026- 2027 school year.
