Seniors enjoy travel and fellowshipping
Field trips aren ’ t just for school children , or at least that ’ s the thought of David Pendley of First Baptist Church of Somerset .
“ I try to have a couple per month at least ,” he said of the trips he painstakingly plans for senior citizens .
The trips are a chance for seniors to get out of town , fellowship , shop , eat and sometimes learn about the things that make Kentucky and the surrounding states so interesting .
