As of 2021 , 49 % of our nation ’ s veterans were aged 65 or older .
The largest group served in the era of the Vietnam War . Those numbers are according to the United States Census .
The Madison County Veterans Center gives many of those veterans who served and live local a place to gather .
But , that ’ s not all the Madison County Veterans Center does .
