Within the department you can gain qualifications in practical aspects of courses which
directly relate to future careers. You will gain a varied experience combining practical skills
whilst advancing your numeracy and literacy skills. Our courses also allow you to develop
personally.
The Health and Food Technology courses offer an alternative to Biology and Chemistry as
you are able to develop your science skills in an applied context.
The fashion and textiles courses offer a creative environment to showcase textile and
design skills.
