CAREERS ADVICE AND SUBJECT CHOICE
Students
Read the booklet carefully. Look at the accompanying course choice form.
Discuss choices with your parent/carers and staff. Your present level of attainment
must be taken into account, along with entry requirements for each course.
You may need careers information to help you make your decision, for example,
which subjects and levels of qualification are needed for a certain career or course
at college or university. This can be found in the appropriate prospectus or on the
college/university web site. The Skills Development Scotland Careers Adviser offers
a drop-in service during Core Personal and Social Education periods
Parents/Carers
You will be involved in helping your child choose school subjects.
