Trailblazer Transit is seeking a dedicated professional to lead a team of transit dispatchers in
Glencoe. The Dispatch Manager is responsible for general management of dispatch functions to
ensure safe and effi cient operation of the public transit system in Sibley, McLeod and Wright Coun-
ties. The Dispatch Manager focuses on hiring, training and supervising dispatchers in addition to
monitoring and developing tools dispatchers require to perform their jobs well. Such tools include
dispatching software, telephone systems, two-way radios, computers, internet connections and
other offi ce equipment.
Excellent leadership, time management, critical thinking, problem solving, organization, commu-
nication, computer and customer service skills are essential. Must possess high attention to detail
and strong writing, math, speaking and documentation skills.
Successful applicant must pass pre-employment drug test and criminal background checks. Sala-
ried position with starting salary up to $69,160 with ideal qualifi cations and experience. Excellent
