Harrison Bay Senior Living hosts expo of activities
Seniors recently enjoyed an expo at Harrison
Bay Senior Living in Mound.
Vendors taking part in the expo were Recover
Health, whose employees performed blood
pressure checks and balance screenings; Lotus
Massage whose employees gave Thai hand
massages; WakeUp Fit; Bluestone Physicians;
and St. Croix Hospice.
Many activities were also a part of the expo.
Dillion Johnson, Harrison Bay’s enrichment
director, led a chair exercise strength building
class, and Sheila Miller, director of dining, did
a cooking class.
Colin Charlson, of State Farm, taught a
fi nancial wellness seminar.
People also has the opportunity to be creative with
paint, paper and scissors, via a therapeutic painting
experience.
The expo took place Jan. 31 at Harrison Bay Senior
Living. People had the opportunity to visit with a vari-
ety of local vendors.
