Sibley County Fair Welcomes ‘9/11 Never Forget’ MobileExhibit Aug. 2-4 in Arlington To ensure that Americans “Never Forget” and that those who were very young, or not yet born on September 11, 2001, learn what happened that day, the Sibley County Fair will be hosting an ex- hibit Friday, August 2 through Sunday, August 4. The 9/11 Never Forget Mobile Exhibit features everything from World Trade Center steel to alu- minum façade from the buildings, to audio tapes of the fi refi ghters discussing what they will need to conquer the fi re, to items including everything from the panel of a fi re truck to a golf ball that was found in the rubble after the buildings col- lapsed. The tours, which are free to the public, are conducted by fi refi ghters who were eyewitnesses to history and able to share their perspective on what happened that fateful day and thereafter. The Stephen Siller Tunnel to Tower Founda- tion’s mission is to honor the sacrifi ce of Stephen Siller, who gave his life to save others on Sep- tember 11, 2001. The Tunnel to Towers Foun- dation honors and supports our fi rst responders and service members who continue to make the supreme sacrifi ce of life and limb for our coun- try. In its mission to ensure that Americans never forget what occurred on September 11, 2001, the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation, es- tablished in memory of a fallen 9/11 fi refi ghter, SUBMISSIONS created the 9/11 Never Forget Mobile Exhibit to vividly bring the events of that day to Americans who are unable to travel to New York City. Tunnel to Towers believes this is especially important as we get farther and farther from the original occurrence and more of the public was either not born yet or very young when it oc- curred. The 2019 150th Sibley County Fair is located at 801 W. Chandler St. in Arlington, and will take place July 31 through August 4.
