Soup’s on!

Warm up with some soup recipes and maybe try
out your new instant pot. It makes soups in a flash,
and many other meals are so easy with this most
amazing appliance. For regular stove top methods
follow recipe except put in pot and let simmer for a
few hours on the stove. Soup makes great leftovers,
and tastes twice as good the next day.
Wild Rice Soup
This easy version is super simple to make either on
the stove or in the instant pot.
Ingredients
One-pound boneless skinless chicken breasts or 3⁄4
to 1 cup shredded rotisserie chicken
5 medium carrots chopped, or a handful of baby
carrots cut in halves
5 stalks celery, chopped
8 ounces fresh mushrooms, sliced (can substitute
one can)

Half of an onion, chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup uncooked wild rice

4 cups of chicken broth

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon dried parsley

1⁄2 teaspoon dried rosemary

1⁄2 teaspoon dried thyme

1⁄2 teaspoon ground black pepper

3 Tablespoons cornstarch

11⁄2 cups milk or cream

Instructions
Put all the ingredients except the corn-
