January’s Show Stopping Winner Takes All Blackjack Tournament The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa hosted a weekend of Blackjack, including a $100,000 tournament on January 16 and a $350,000 tournament on January 17. Both tournaments were hosted in the Hard Rock Cafe, which transformed into an ultra exclusive play zone featuring a champagne aerialist, cocktails and a wide variety of intricate hors d’oeuvres. Each player selected their seat from a customized guitar chip and was then escorted to their table by one of the beautiful 2015 Seminole Hard Rock Girls. The action was streaming live on the cafe televisions for guests to watch the results. Ye Mystic Krewe of Gasparilla Community Fund Charity Dinner at Council Oak Steaks & Seafood Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa hosted a Ye Mystic Krewe of Gasparilla Community Fund Charity Dinner, which featured television host Sissy Biggers and Council Oak Steaks & Seafood Head Chef, Michael Balles. Sissy has been showcased on Lifetime Television, Food Network and ABC’s Extreme Makeover. Chef Balles is known for bringing innovative recipes and flavors to Council Oak Steaks & Seafood. Ye Mystic Krewe of Gasparilla’s Community Fund was established to assist the community in times of need. The three-course meal included sommelier hand-selected wine pairings from Chalone Estates and winemaker Robert Cook. There were 95 guests who attended the dinner, including Grand Marshal for Gasparilla Pirate Festival, Sgt. Chris Faris, Ye Mystic Krewe Captain Rex Farrior, wine expert from Chalone Vineyard Estates and a special appearance from Joe Maddon.
