Council Oak High West Distillery Dinner
The High West Distillery meets Tampa Bay as Chef Dave Puatu and the Council Oak team constructed a pairing
dinner on Thursday, July 28, featuring some of the best bourbons and rye whiskeys in the states. The evening
started off with flavorful hors d’oeuvres including smoked salmon, rabbit confit and mini pastrami burgers. Dinner
featured roasted Guinea Hen, smoked Rainbow Trout and Grilled Wagyu Hanger Steak paired with the limited
release Yippee Ki-Yay. As guests indulged in their four course meal, they were engaged by the smooth R&B vocals
of Josh Carroll. The eventful evening ended with each guest departing with a commemorative bottle of High West
Double Rye.
