SINOPSE / SYNOPSIS
O trabalho experimenta com variações
abruptas do batimento cardíaco dos
espectadores e sua capacidade de lidar com
mudanças e choques, mantendo sua
integridade no confronto com forças externas.
The work experiments with abrupt variations of
the viewers’ heartbeat and its ability to cope
with change and to sustain shocks maintaining
its integrity in confrontation to external forces.
BIOGRAFIA / BIOGRAPHY
Nasceu em 1980 em Belo Horizonte e vive
desde 2006 entre Berlim e Seyðisfjörður.
Participou de diversas exposições coletivas e
bienais como a de Sydney (2008), Lyon (2007)
e São Paulo (2006). Já exibiu no MAC - Musée
d'art contemporain de Lyon (2014), Living Art
Museum em Reykjavik (2011), Singapore Art
Museum (2009), Reina Sofia (2008), entre
outros. Recebeu prêmios como Ars Viva 07/08
Sound e o prêmio principal do Festival de
Oberhausen 2005.

He was born in 1980 in Belo Horizonte and
since 2006 lives between Berlin and
Seyðisfjörður. He participated in numerous
group exhibitions and Biennials such as Sydney
(2008), Lyon (2007) and São Paulo (2006). He
exhibited at MAC - Musée d'art contemporain
de Lyon (2014), Living Art Museum em
Reykjavik (2011), Singapore Art Museum
(2009), Reina Sofia (2008), among oders.
Including some of the prices he has received
are the Ars Viva Price 07/08 and the main prize
of Oberhausen Film Festival 2005.
