SINOPSE / SYNOPSIS
A volta ao passado, e a reorganização das imagens-memórias guardadas em fitas de miniDV é um gesto impossível de transmutação. É possível superar o medo? Vestir a imagem, como vestir a pele do outro que nunca fui e nunca serei.
The return to the past, and the reorganization of the memories- images stored in miniDV tapes, is an impossible gesture of transmutation. Is it possible to overcome the fear? To dress the image, like dressing the skin of the other that I have never been and never will be.
BIOGRAFIA / BIOGRAPHY
Diretora de cinema e artista visual, é mestra em cinema e artes midiáticas pela Temple University, EUA. Realizou os curtas A vó( 2002), Com uma câmera( 2006), Landscaping( 2007), Nova ordem( 2010), Brócolis( 2015) e Abigail( 2016); e a vídeo instalação em 4 canais O conto sobre o vazio( 2013), e performances como Será a transformação( de fato) silenciosa( 2015) e Última dança para minha avó em três atos curtos( 2016 / 2018).
She is a filmmaker and visual artist, holding a MFA in Film and Media Arts at Temple University, US. She has directed Granny( 2002), With a Camera( 2006), Landscaping( 2007), New Order( 2010) and Brócolis( 2015) and Abigail( 2016); and is the author / performer of the 4 channel video installation The Tale Of The Void( 2013), performances such as Is the Transformation( in fact) Silent? and Last dance For Grandma In Three Acts( 2016-2018).
