SINOPSE / SYNOPSIS
Enquanto procura um cybercafé, um garoto é
assolado por ondas selvagens. Um grupo de
garotos vive junto, cercado de muitas coisas.
Eles trabalham, caminham e conversam em
lugares muito diferentes, mas nunca sabemos
exatamente onde estão. Uma formiga anda
através de pelos, desejando que não existissem
mais ídolos.
Sometimes we find ourselves walking, talking
or simply looking at things. That is what the
protagonists of this film do. However, inside this
mystery of life, we don’t know who they are or
what they do. Teddy Williams builds yet again a
dense and fantasmatic universe where breezes
rhyme with vacancies and to the verb to be has
its full double meaning.

Nasceu em 1987 na Argentina e estudou na
Universidade de Cinema de Buenos Aires
antes de ingressar na Le Fresnoy - Studio
national des arts contemporains, na França.
Dirigiu curtas como Tan atentos (2011), Pude
ver un Puma (Festival de Cannes 2011), Que je
tomve tout le temp? (2013) e Allons-y! (2016). O
auge do humano, seu primeiro longa, recebeu
um Leopardo de Ouro na mostra Cineastas do
Presente, no Festival de Locarno 2016, além do
prêmio de melhor filme no Janela Internacional
de Cinema do Recife.

Born in 1987 in Argentina, Eduardo Williams
studies at the Universidad del Cine in Buenos
Aires, before joining Le Fresnoy – Studio
national des arts contemporains in France.
He signs several shorts including Tan atentos
(2011), Could See a Puma (2011), selected
in Cannes, That I’m Falling? (2013) and
Allons-y! (2016). The Human Surge (2016),
his first feature film, won a Golden Leopard
in Filmmakers of the Present - Locarno Film
Festival.
