People who think cri�cally consistently a�empt to live ra�onally , reasonably , empha�cally . They use the intellectual tools that cri�cal thinking offers – concepts and principles that enable them to analyze , assess , and improve thinking . They work diligently to develop the intellectual virtues of intellectual integrity , intellectual humility , intellectual civility , intellectual empathy , intellectual sense of jus�ce and confidence in reason .
Cri�cal thinking is a rich concept that has been developing throughout the past 2,500 years . Cri�cal thinking is the process of ac�vely and skillfully conceptualizing , applying , analyzing , synthesizing or evalua�ng informa�on gathered through observa�on , experience , empathy , reasoning and communica�on . Cri�cal thinking , which is very useful in problem-solving , is a unique tool for genera�ng crea�ve ideas . Cri�cal thinking is essen�al , especially for science . But it would be wrong to say that it is used only in science .
Especially people who have a career goal and want to be successful should be able to apply the cri�cal thinking process at every stage of their lives . Everyone can use different cri�cal thinking methods about the problem they are dealing with or trying to solve .
