Heroin

Heroin is an opioid.

Heroin also known as Smack, Horse, and Lady, is an addictive pain killing drug made from morphine. Pure heroin is a white powder, however street heroin is usually brown because it has other things added in. It is usually injected, but can also be snorted, smoked, or inhaled.

Heroin makes users feel detached from emotional, mental, or physical drama, distress, or pain.

-Short term risks include constricted pupils, nausea, vomiting, inability to concentrate.

-Long term risks include severe weight loss, malnutrition, and constipation.

-Excessive use can lead to comas and death.

- Abruptly quitting heroin gives the user severe cramps,tremors, diarrhea, and panic attacks.
