Kidnapping

Kidnapping is the abduction of someone, and it's a fairly common way of getting a lot of money very quickly.

There are several main types of kidnapping:

Basic kidnapping - When people take somebody because they look like they have the money, and can request for ransom. The kidnapper will usually study and watch the person over several days. They can also study situations. They can look for specific things like cars, or can throw a rock into the way to stop the person.

Car-Jacking - If someone decides to steal your car, they might try and take you with it, at least for a while. Modern technology is making this more difficult to do.

Tiger kidnapping - They kidnap you to commit another crime for them, for example kidnapping you to use you as bait.

Express kidnapping - when they kidnap you and take you away from where you are and force you to draw money from an ATM then leave you.

Virtual kidnapping - They will wait until you are in a place with no signal, and then call your parents and tell them that you have been kidnapped.

Political kidnapping - Used for politics. When two parties are both applying and one side kidnaps somebody from the other side and holds them for ransom until the person backs down.

Bride kidnapping - Kidnapping the bride to marry somebody else.
