Place on Prince George Wharf,
where you’ll find over 45 stalls
selling authentic Bahamian
crafts. Along with traditional
straw baskets, you’ll also find
handmade quilts and local
treats such as pineapple and
coconut tarts.
Conch fritters are a local
staple, and although you
can find them all over the
island, one of the best places
is Bahamian Cookin’
Restaurant, just a few blocks
from Festival Place. The lunch
menu features fried, steamed
and cracked conch, as well as
mac and cheese for the kids.
