Technology has taken over the globe. As we move forward as a society, so do our
technological advances in every industry we can imagine. This is true of even those
industries previously thought impenetrable, such as Real Estate. What is the latest

With the rise of social connections through apps, websites and other technological means
we can see a clear trend of recreating the human experience. Whether to view it in a
different perspective, or to provide freedom to those who suffer from disabilities, the
possibilities are endless with Virtual Reality. Those with a vision of the future in real estate
are excited. What could this mean for the consumer, the professionals, and the market?
Will this be how we buy homes in the future, or will the hype fizzle out as just another

What is Virtual Reality (VR)?
Virtual Reality is the optical mix of the world around us, plus whatever tools we can
augment in front of our very eyes. This can range from being fully virtual, seeing an entirely
new world that doesn’t resemble our own or fully based in reality (the current world
around you with the addition of helpful widgets, clocks, or virtual pets that will live in your
Virtual Reality).
