From the breathtaking views of the Yosemite Valley to the Mariposa Grove of giant Sequoias, the park offers diverse terrains catering to mountain climbers, photographers, and hikers. There are 13 different camping sites, cabins, cottages, and condominiums that can accommodate the weekend camper or the whole family. The park is comprised of over 747,956 acres spanning eastern portions of Tuolomne, Mariposa, and Madera County in Northern California. Established in 1890 by an act of congress, Yosemite National Park has become one of the nations most beloved travel destinations. Around 3.7 million people visit the park every year to experience its regal beauty and untouched wilderness. From hiking the 17 miles of Half Dome, the Yosemite Falls Trail, or just enjoying the magnificent views, Yosemite has something for everyone.
