Since the growth in popularity, people all over the world already had their gears turning. “What could we make this fantastic little gadget do?” Apart from hobbyist flyers, others have introduced drones into some surprising capacities. Here are just a few ideas that people have already pioneered. PHOTO PERFECT It’s no surprise that drones affixed with cameras can acquire some beautiful shots. That’s the idea that caused two brothers, Sergio and Carlos Loaiza from Greenville here in the U.S., to build a drone that did just that. The team used this idea to do wonders for their photography business. Equally happy are the Paparazzi, who are now able to spy on celebrities in a whole new way. SEARCH & RESCUE Pars will fly to the victim and be able to drop a ring into the water that the victim can use to swim to safety. THE ALCOHOL IS NOW DELIVERED If going to the store to pick up your favorite brew doesn’t tickle your fancy, California, Las Vegas, and Minnesota has now found a quicker (albeit cooler) method. Using drones that can go as high as 100 feet in the air at all times, these ever surprising machines can deliver copious amounts of alcohol to companies or individual users. Just a word of warning, these deliveries don’t come cheap. A delivery can cost you $20,000. With the ability to fly extremely low in an area without endangering the life of victims, or crew, drones have now found their way into search and rescue missions.
