of development for Tahoe
Blue Vodka in 2011, after a
moment of “clarity’’ left him
wondering why there were
no spirits on the market that
represented the beauty of
Lake Tahoe. The three-blend
recipe of 2 parts sugarcane,
1 part grape, and 1 part
grain is the original recipe
and the secret to its purity
and satiny smoothness
much like Lake Tahoe
itself. Tahoe Blue started
bringing home awards from
events such as The Los
Angeles International
Wine & Spirits
Competition and The
San Francisco World
Spirits Competition,
and in 2013 taking 1st place
at the Ultimate Spirits
Challenge in New York—
beating out top players like
Chopin and Belvedere for
best unflavored vodka.
