“ That was a trick . That was a trick ,” he said when asked about it . “ We did a lot of things . We separated the kids in the dugout . We expanded the dugouts . We took out the bleachers . Everybody had to be six feet apart . But the biggest thing that we did , we were one of the first Little Leagues to ever be able to livestream . We bought cameras . We put it on Facebook . We advertised .”
Despite the hardship , the call to broadcast games was a hit . Bray said that this became invaluable for grandparents to watch their kids from home . He remarked that one couple watches their grandkids play from their home in Michigan .
Bray was tremendously thankful to the community for helping pull that off . He also admitted , as an officiator of the game , that he did not have to deal with as many angry parents .
As a parent himself , watching his children play baseball was one of the many memories he cherished of his
