updated / new mall with better stores such as Old Navy , The Children ’ s Place , American Eagle , etc . It ’ s ridiculous that we have to drive roughly 1.5-2 hours to have decent shopping ! Restaurant wise : An Olive Garden would be great ! Just please NO MORE chicken places !”
Whitney Hancock : “ Meijer , Target , 5 below , Costco , Tim Hortons , Chipotle , Rural King , Dave and Busters , trampoline park for kids , and it would be great to have a dinner and live music . Example would be ( Buck Owens Crystal Palace )”

I would like to see a venue similar to Rupp Arena , to bring in concerts and other action stuff like monster truck rally . How about another campground or two that would be close to where events were taking place . Upgrade the campgrounds at Pulaski park to more amenities such as sewer hookups and internet , along with keeping the general store open for longer hours with more merchandise .”

I ’ d love to see the Carnegie get access to grants and funding that would allow more consistent programming for kids art camps ( like what the community arts center in Danville offers ), the drivein to be revitalized so it could stay open , our downtown to continue to be “ rebuilt ” since so many great changes are currently underway , and , more opportunities for small businesses . All the chain suggestions are great and welcome , but my personal opinion is to build on our strengths- history , agriculture , and tourism .”

Affordable , open 24 hrs ., a great place to sit and dine with family and friends while still being able to carry on decent conversation , it ’ s a no brainer ! And only one other place as competition that wouldn ’ t even be competition for an I . H . O . P .!”

As a consumer I would be very happy with Raising Canes , which would be a welcomed addition to our “ Chicken Strip ,” of HW27 . I would also like Target , Five Below , Sky Zone , AMC , and a new bowling alley . More entertainment and late night options for some fun . As a worker I would like more high paying jobs available to people after they get out of high school .”

Terry Júdice : “ A indoor aquatic center that all ages can benefit from year round with hot tub , shower rooms . This area has alot of people that suffer with arthritis , and other problems that water stretching and low impact aerobics would benefit from . Take a look at other towns that have them . They are nice ! You can bring your own lunch and have it in a designated eating area and in the winter enjoy a coffee or cup of tea , health drink .”
