Pharmacy :
Dungans mixing the right formula with their family business

Weston and Jody Dungan share a love for each other and a love of helping people as pharmacists .
The Dungans met at Samford University in Birmingham and married after her graduation .
Weston is a Pulaski County native who first pursued a pre-pharmacy track at Western Kentucky University . Jody , who is originally from Alabama , got her start as a pharmacy technician when she was just 17 years old .
“ I really liked it and was interested in pharmacy ,” she said . “ I was on that path the whole time .”
Both have experience working for chain pharmacies , and moved back to Somerset to be closer to family once they had their two sons . It was here that they also wanted to make the transition from chain stores to opening their own independent pharmacy .
