County Chamber of Commerce , which they ’ ve joined just recently .
“ We want to get out of it what we put into it ,” John adds .
They foresee themselves attending future Chamber of Commerce events and luncheons to promote themselves by offering free samples . It ’ s all a part of the “ footwork ” that goes into building the restaurant up .
In addition , MJ ’ s has taken efforts to reach out to the community . This includes preparing meals for the local police department and offering a $ 5 meal for first responders , veterans , and active military members . They hope to expand these efforts to include preparing meals for local school sports teams after their games .

They also want to encourage those that play tabletop games , such as D & D or Pathfinder , to come in and run their sessions . They already have private party rooms to do so .
