SOUR CREAM BUNT CAKE
Ingredients 2 / 3 c butter soften 1 ½ c sugar 3 large eggs 1 tsp vanilla 2 ½ c flour 1 tsp baking powder 1 tsp baking soda 1 c sour cream ½ c chopped walnuts ¼ c brown sugar 1 tsp cinnamon
Directions Set oven 400 degrees Cream butter and sugar , add egg one at a time Add vanilla In bowl add all dry ingredients and mix , then mix slowly into wet ingredients Add sour cream and walnuts Pour ½ of mixture into greased bunt pan , add brown sugar / cinnamon Pour remanding ½ of mixture into pan Bake for 50 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean . Set to cool for 30 minutes before removing from pan . Dust with sugar .
PEANUT BUTTER FUDGE
Ingredients 2 c sugar ¾ c creamy peanut butter 2 / 3 c evaporated milk 4 Tbl butter 1 tsp van ½ tsp salt 8x8 bread pan greased line with parchment paper
Directions Combine sugar and evaporated milk On medium heat stir mixture until it comes to a boil Using wet pastry brush , brush down sides Cook to reach 234 degrees to 236 degrees 112c Remove from heat add peanut butter , butter , vanilla and salt Stir avoid scrapping sides Pour into pan cover let set in fridge for
1 hour or until set firm . Cut into bite size serving
