The Harbor Restaurant and Tavern has a new management team and with it comes a brand-new experience for the community . No matter the age , The Harbor Restaurant is a place where one can enjoy a beautiful view of Lake Cumberland along with a culinary experience for the entire family .
The Harbor recently announced their new additional section to their original menu full of classic Harbor recipes like grouper and the popular Harbor chicken . This new “ Local ’ s Menu ” addition features southern style cuisine that provides multiple dishes under $ 10 and southern favorites like meatloaf , country fried steak and a Kentucky hot brown .
They also have a new lunch menu available from 11a . m . to 4 p . m . on weekdays .
Children will love a big bowl of spaghetti or chicken tenders served with fries , both options on the children ’ s menu .
Don ’ t have time to swing by The Harbor ? Soon , they will have a menu available on the Door Dash app to be delivered right to your door .
The Harbor is also ready to take on parties up to 100 people at no additional cost . They only ask to make a deposit for parties over 25 and that is returned to you after the event .
The Harbor plans on staying open until they temporarily close in January and February to make renovations . These additions include a new cocktail lounge and updates to the kitchen . The restaurant is due to open their doors again on March 1 .
Before they close for renovations , the community can look forward to a New Year ’ s Eve masquerade , an event planned after the success of their Halloween party this Fall .
The new management team is going to bring a new experience to the community . They are planning new events like foam parties , a party where everyone wears white and they have foam machines with colored bubbly foam and strobe lights .
Everyone on the management team brings valuable skills to the team . It includes three locals with a heart for the community : Jason Brackett , the managing
