“ They wanted somebody local and so the stars kind of just aligned ,” he stated . “ The main reason we got into it [ motorsports we felt that we have the title clerk , I already have my controller , I have a parts and service manager that we brought over from Honda , and a lot of the processes mimic the automotive side .” Located at 2070 South Highway
27 , next door to their gigantic Ford dealership , Lake Cumberland Motorsports can provide customers with a huge selection of utility and sporty motorsports vehicles with the same exceptional parts and service that they have provided for the past 58 years .
“ The service side of things is very similar to the sales side ,” Trey Blakley explained . “ We ’ re taking units in , fixing them , and getting them back out . In this case it ’ s not on the road , but on the trail . We have two factory certified technicians , and we ’ ll soon be adding third and fourth pretty quickly .”
And while Lake Cumberland Motorsports has similar components to their already established car dealership , Blakley realizes a much different clientele will be walking through their soon-tobe-remodeled spacious motorsports showroom doors .
“ On the car side , it ’ s often your ‘ need ’ buyer ,” Trey Blakley explained . “ With the Mustangs and the Broncos , we have a little bit of the just the ‘ want ’ buyer , but
