Beware Of This Scam! Anyone Who Offers To Create An E-Commerce Website For
Tl300-500 May Be A Scammer
T Cenk Çiğdemli, Member of TOBB E-Commerce Assembly and Founder
of Ticimax E-Commerce Systems, warned the SMEs about the scams on
their way to digitalization. Mr. Çiğdemli warned against phishing ads
with the offer to create an e-commerce website for TL300-500.

e-ticaret sitesi yaptığını iddia eden reklam tuzaklarına karşı dikkatli
olunması konusunda uyarılarda bulundu.

açık kaynak kodu yazılım kullanılmaması gerektiğine özellikle vurgu
yapan Çiğdemli şunları aktardı:
“Öncelikle altyapısı sağlam bir e-ticaret sitesi yaptırmanız gereki-
yor. Sitenizi yaptırmak için hizmet alacağınız firmanın profesyonel
olduğundan emin olmalısınız. Google aramalarda 300-500 liraya
bile site yaptığını iddia eden şirket görünümlü şahıslar görebiliyor-
sunuz. Ucuza e-ticaret sitesi açan, vur-kaç yapan bir dolandırıcı da
çıkabilir. Profesyonel bir altyapının bu rakamlara kurulmayacağını
unutmamalısınız. Sitenizde açık kaynak kodlu ücretsiz yazılımlar
kullanılmadığından da emin olmalısınız. E-ticaret gibi güvenin bi-
rincil öncelikte olduğu bir alanda ücretsiz yazılımlar başınıza dert
açabilir, yaşayacağınız problemler zarar etmenize yol açabilir. İyi bir
e-ticaret paketi için en az bin lira ile 5 bin lira arasında bir miktarı
gözden çıkarmalısınız. Bu parayı yılda sadece bir kez ödeyeceksiniz.”

Mr. Çiğdemli emphasized that it is important not to use an open source
code for an e-commerce website, and he added:
“First, you would need an e-commerce website with a strong back-end
development. You need to make sure that the firm undertaking the
development of your website is a professional business. It is possible
to read Google ads with the offer to create an e-commerce website for
as low as TL300-500. Anyone who came with this cheap offer may
be a scammer with many victims. You should remember that it is not
possible to build a professional back-end for this level of payment. And
you need to ensure that no free software with open source code is used
on your website. Any free software may prove very harmful for your
business in a field such as e-commerce where sensitivities are placed
on trust. You will need to consider a budget between TL1,000 and
TL5,000 at a minimum for a good e-commerce package. And please
remember that you will only pay this amount of money once a year.”
